14 UAV Expo Europe The Commercial UAV Expo Europe show, being held in Brussels on June 20-22, is exclusively focused on UAS integration for large enterprise industrial applications. It will be centred on the technology revolutionising how work is done in surveying and mapping, civil infrastructure, process and power, utilities, mining, construction, law enforcement and emergency response, and precision agriculture. The education programme includes vertical market tracks featuring industry experts who will share best practices, case studies and challenges. Keynotes and plenary sessions will focus on more universal themes including systems selection, workflow integration, legal considerations, regulatory issues, harmonisation of standards and more. Global technology innovators representing growth segments for UAV use will gain critical insights from fellow users as well as hear from UAS experts about the road ahead for UAV- UAS integration in Europe. A special feature of the event will be Drone Hero Europe, a contest held in collaboration with EUKA Belgium, in which UAV visionaries from across the region will compete for support to develop their innovations. Peter van Blyenburgh, president of UVS International, is chairman of the jury. Early-bird rates end on May 5 so early registration is encouraged for the best pricing.
