The 2020 edition of Unmanned Systems Middle East Exhibition & Conference (UMEX) is set to return to the ADNEC centre in Abu Dhabi, from February 23 to 25. The event will be attended by delegates from the UAE armed forces, as well as government delegations, agencies, industry representatives and civil authorities from around the world. The indoor exhibition area will feature hundreds of exhibitors with static displays of their latest unmanned vehicles for defence, industry, and emergency services operators. It will also house SIMTEX, a zone dedicated to training and simulation systems for vehicle control, emergency protocols and high-risk operations across a range of services. Further exhibitions and live demonstrations will be available outdoors. Additionally, the UMEX conferences will open from February 22, and will cover strategic issues such as manned/unmanned teaming, collaborative border security and integrating unmanned systems into command structures.
