Every year, the event brings together hundreds of platform and subsystem makers on the exhibition floor, and this time at least 225 providers are set to unveil new airframes, powertrains, sensors, software and more. For prospective operators, the exhibition floor will feature a Drone Pilot Hub for the first time, where pilots will be able to meet with industry leaders and gain key learning insights. The 2024 conference programme has been planned around the theme of ‘Drones in Action: Current Realities & Future Frontiers’ to concentrate education on solving problems and creating meaningful returns for investors. Conference sessions will include coverage of how uncrewed inspections of critical infrastructure can be advanced, how UAV workflows play out in construction spaces, energy and utilities case studies, and details of UTM ecosystems and operations. Two more education programmes include a DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit for first responders and UAS programme managers; and a FLYING HY Conference and Hydrogen Aviation Course about hydrogen aircraft, powertrains, production, infrastructure and logistics.
